I'm a music lover and own a large amount of CD collections. Since I started a new job and commuting time became longer, listening my favorite songs through smart phone is my new hobby. So, I started to rip my CDs to mp3 during weekends. After ripping 50 CDs manually, I found it's really a tiring job and I had to sit in front of my laptop for hours. Can't imagine how long it will take me for ripping the rest CDs!
The ripping software I use is dBpoweramp. Luckily, I found there's an Acronova Nimbie autoloader which supports it and can automate ripping process. I contacted Acronova, and they forwarded me to Datatronics who handles sales in Australia. The customer service replied soon and answered all my questions about ripping. Finally, I decided to purchased the Nimbie USB NB11 at their online store. I used PayPal which is a safe way for me to pay online, and my goods was soon shipped in the next day.
A few days later, the device arrived. The quick guide packed with Nimbie helps for my setup. What I have to do now is to load my CDs into the device with a few clicks, then ripping job can be automatically done. I usually set it up before going to work, and 80~100 discs have already been ripped when I back home. The CDs which are failed to be ripped will be dropped to the bottom of NB11, so I can easily discriminate them from successful ones.
I received the update from Datatronics about new released auto installation tool which briefs the setting for dBpoweramp a few days later. Nimbie really helps and saves my time. I'm satisfied with the device and is keep ripping my collections now. Oh, I also found the bundled software helps to backup my CDs, and can create my own CD albums as well. To music lovers who also have a large amount of CDs waiting to be ripped, I'd recommend you to give it a try!
